Hang out at.... A Casa Mia!

The Guardian, 04 August 2017

The Guardian, 04 August 2017

A Casa Mia featured in The Guardian article by Tom Dyckhoff titled "Let's move to Herne Bay, Kent: classic cafes and crazy golf". Tom writes "Hang out at… The pizzas at A Casa Mia transported Marina O’Loughlin to Naples". To read more, click here.

Also, a big thank you to a Guardian reader, 'arghbee' for their comment:

I live at Margate, but take the train once a month or so for an ale or two at Beer on the Pier, followed by A Casa Mia - Marina wasn’t wrong, their pizzas are fab. Herne boasts The Butcher’s Arms, Britain’s original micro pub, a haven of beautifully kept local beers.

Work up an appetite for dinner

A Casa Mia featured in an article in the Food & Wine magazine by David Landsel titled "5 Highly Edible Day Trips from London".  Whilst the feature is about our neighbouring town, Whitstable, he writes:

work up an appetite for dinner one town over in Herne Bay, home to the first certified Neapolitan-style pizzeria to open in the UK, A Casa Mia. The chef began his career delivering you-know-what in Naples, opening his dream spot here after decades of the London grind.

THE GUARDIAN RESTAURANT REVIEW

a_casa_mia_guardian

We are overwhelmed by the lovely review by Marina O'Loughlin in The Guardian.

"I pine for more as soon as the last mouthful has disappeared into my face: perfectly airy, elastic dough, the all-important corniccione dotted with little blisters of char, and the centre dressed with fruity, oil-blessed tomato and strings of milky cheese"

Yesterday we managed 177 customers breaking the record since we opened. Thank you for the kind support!
